La Stage 4 of the Llanes Coastal Path connects the lively town of Celorio with the majestic San Antolin Beach, in a journey of almost 9 km which is completed in about 4 hours of walking calm. It is a stage of low difficulty, accessible to most hikers, which offers a very varied itinerary: iconic beaches, cliffs with spectacular views, small coastal towns, and an unforgettable finish on one of the largest sandy beaches in Asturias.
This section is home to some of Llanes' most iconic landscapes, such as the Torimbia beach, famous for its natural beauty and panoramic views, or the image of the Niembro church reflected in the estuary, one of the most photographed images of the council.

The start of the stage is located in Celorio, in the heart of the town, next to the historic San Salvador Monastery and just a few meters from beaches like Palombina and Las Cámaras. This small coastal town, just 4 km from Llanes, is a very accessible starting point by car or public transport.
- 🚗 By car: From Llanes, just take the road N-634 or the highway A-8 (exit 307), which take you directly to Celorio in less than 10 minutes. There are parking areas scattered throughout the town, especially near Palombina Beach and next to the monastery. The end of the stage is at the San Antolin Beach, about 8,6 km away, next to the N-634 and with ample parking at the foot of the sand. It's best to arrange a support vehicle in San Antolín or take the train to return.
- ???? By train (FEVE): So much Celorio , the San Antolin They have stops on the regional line Oviedo – Santander, making the train the most practical option for completing the stage in a linear fashion. You can start in Celorio and return from San Antolín without needing a car, or vice versa.

🔹 Section 1: Celorio and the monastic heritage (approx. 2 km)
The tour starts in Celorio, a town marked by the imprint of the ancient San Salvador Monastery, which for centuries was a spiritual center of great importance in the area. The first steps of the stage lead the hiker between urban beaches such as Palombina y The Chambers, before reaching the picturesque Borizu Beach, whose eponymous islet, connected to the coast at low tide, offers a unique spectacle in the coastal landscape.
🔹 Section 2: Torimbia, the natural paradise of the Cantabrian Sea (approx. 2,5 km)
From Borizu, the trail continues parallel to the coast until reaching the panoramic view of the majestic Torimbia beachIts semicircular shape, turquoise waters, and white sand have made it a true symbol of the Asturian coast. From the top of the viewpoint, the views encompass the sea horizon and the cliffs, creating one of the most spectacular landscapes on the trail. After leaving Torimbia behind, the path descends towards Clay and continue until Niembro, where one of the most iconic images of the council is located.
