La hiking route along the east coast from pendueles It is an experience that combines nature, culture and tradition on a short but unforgettable tour. The walk begins in the village itself, discovering authentic corners such as its bowling alley, the church, and an elegant Indian house, which recall the cultural richness of this area of eastern Asturias.
The path then takes us to follow a section of the Coastal Way of Saint James, where every step connects with centuries of history. You will soon reach the viewpoint of the Pendueles beach, a perfect natural balcony to enjoy some stunning views of the Cantabrian SeaFrom there, the path continues along the sea until reaching the Pica beach, a hidden corner ideal for relaxing and feeling the sea breeze.
The hiking trail reaches its most surprising point at the Cobijeru natural space, where karst formations, cliffs and a semi-hidden inland beach create a unique environment declared a Natural MonumentYou will also be able to see the remains of an ancient tide mill, testimony to the link between humans and the power of the sea.
Finally, the route enters the town of Buelna, where rural life and Asturian tradition are still very present. After about two hours of walking, you will return to Pendueles with the feeling of having discovered a stretch of the coast that perfectly combines the natural charm with the cultural imprint of Asturias.
